This Privacy Policy describes how the Chand mobile application (the “App”), developed by Alireza Khoddam (“we”, “us”), handles information when you use it. By using Chand you agree to the practices described below.
Chand is designed to display public market prices (currencies, gold, and cryptocurrencies). We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information about you. Specifically, the App does not require an account, does not ask for your name, email, phone number, contacts, location, photos, or any other personal data.
The App stores your preferences (such as selected language, calendar, theme, view mode, and pinned widgets) locally on your device only. This data never leaves your device and is removed when you uninstall the App.
To show up-to-date prices, the App connects to public price-data endpoints over the internet. These requests contain only the data necessary to fetch prices and standard technical information that any HTTPS request includes (such as your device’s IP address, which is handled by the network provider and is not retained by us). We do not associate this information with any personal identifier.
The App requests only the following Android permissions:
INTERNET — required to fetch live prices.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE — required to detect whether the device is online before making a request.The App does not include third-party advertising, analytics, crash-reporting SDKs, or social-media trackers. The only third parties the App contacts are the public price-data providers needed to display prices.
Chand is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.
All network communication is performed over encrypted HTTPS connections. Because we do not collect personal data, there is no personal information on our servers to secure or breach.
Since we do not collect personal information, there is no personal data for us to access, modify, or delete on your behalf. You can clear all locally stored preferences at any time by clearing the App’s storage from Android Settings, or by uninstalling the App.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted at the same URL with a new “Effective date”.
